Here at WW4G, we obviously enjoy playing games. There are many great games out there to choose from, ranging from the newest releases to the timeless classics. Sometimes we’ll play a game we know we love, and sometimes we’ll play a game from our pile of shame and discover something new.
Either way, if you’re looking for some inspiration, or just want to be nosy, have a look at what the WW4G staff have been playing:
Playing: Tales of Symphonia (GameCube)
I love a good RPG. And for my money there are few better than Namco’s sublime Tales of Symphonia. Originally released for the GameCube, it received positive reviews from the industry and customers alike, that a PS2 port with added extras was also released. Following Lloyd Irving and his friends on an epic journey to save the world of Sylvarant. With a great storyline, memorable characters, and different story outcomes, this really is a gem of a game.
Playing: Deadly Premonition: Director’s Cut (PS3)
The cult horror game that divided audiences is back with a Director’s Cut version – adding new scenarios and enhanced graphics and updated combat. I played this game on the Xbox 360 and fell in love with it instantly, its shameless rip off of Twin Peaks and often out-of-place music totally won me over. The new PS3 version means I can delve deeper into the world of the Raincoat Killer and all the crazy psychological horror and strange monsters that come with him.
Playing: Skyrim (PS3)
Nothing makes me feel better after a long day than slaying dragons, and nowhere is that more enjoyable than in Skyrim. With literally 100s of hours of gameplay and added DLC to play through, there is always something to do as you journey across Skyrim, crafting your character and the world as you go.
